I used Resolume software which enabled the projected image to react to Sammartino's music.

Archive cycling footage was paired with each artist on the bill of this bike shop show.

During these self-promoted shows I began to reintroduce video projections. I found that if paired correctly, music and the moving image could enhance each other within a live context. Using Resolume software I’ve found ways to make the projected image respond directly to audio input, creating an instinctive link between audio and visual. In relation to these experiences I’m interested by the ‘audiovisual composition’ module offered on the Goldsmiths programme. I’d be keen to develop the link between these aspects of my own performance and also collaborate with others to share skills and broaden my perspective. The organisational load of promoting shows is another experience which makes me appreciate the importance of collaboration, not only in devising the creative performance but also in balancing the practical arrangements for a show.
