I’ll start by providing some context on my work as a musician. I write, record and perform music under the name ‘Mono Works’. My current live set is constructed around live looping, blending melodic guitar lines with sampled beats, ambient sounds and low-key vocals. The moniker makes reference to solo works (namely, written without a band) and also the many industrial ‘Works’ buildings located in Sheffield, my city of residence. I moved here in 2014 to study architecture, a course on which I began to test ideas around the audiovisual.
